Ho-Kim is designed for Southeast Asian travellers (primarily from Singapore and Malaysia) and UK visitors to South Korea — anyone who wants a genuinely curated, locally-grounded Korea experience without the language barrier getting in the way. Solo female travellers, couples, small groups, and first-time Korea visitors all work particularly well with our service.

We recommend reaching out at least 4–6 weeks before your Korea arrival. Popular restaurants — particularly omakase, high-end Korean BBQ, and Michelin-starred venues — require reservations that far ahead, especially in Korean. Last-minute bookings (2–3 weeks out) are possible, but some experiences may not be available. We'll always be honest about what's achievable within your timeframe.

On Signature and Bespoke packages, you have a 24/7 direct line to our Seoul-based team. We can call Korean emergency services on your behalf (119 for ambulance, 112 for police), communicate your location and situation in Korean, and guide you through every step. For medical situations, we'll connect you with the nearest international clinic and translate throughout. You are never navigating a crisis alone.

Often, yes. Our Korean-language access means we can call reservation lines that don't accept English enquiries at all. Sung Joon's family network in Seoul — through Lucidpromo and I-Concierge — also gives us direct relationships with a number of venues. We cannot guarantee every reservation, but our success rate is significantly higher than what most international travellers can achieve independently.

Yes. We've designed itineraries for groups of 2 to 12. For groups above 6, we offer custom pricing and can coordinate split itineraries, group dining bookings, and shared transport. Email us at hello@hokimconcierge.com with your group size and dates and we'll put together a custom proposal.

From the day you arrive, you'll have a WhatsApp and KakaoTalk thread open with our team. When you're at a restaurant and can't read the menu, you send us a photo and we translate and recommend. When you need to speak to a shop assistant or taxi driver, we can be a voice on the phone in seconds. It's the same access a Korean friend would give you — without needing to find one.
